My granny is superb! Have u heard of a 67 years old woman ride on a roller coaster? Seldom right? But my granny did it yesterday in Gold Coast, Austrailia! This news shocked my whole family last night! All of us are wondering how come my granny will ride on a roller coaster when she even scared of taking cable car???
Despite the expensive charges of overseas calls, I quickly called up my sis, Val who is in Australia having fun with them to know the details of the whole story. And this is what I have learnt....
Yesterday morning, the tour guide brought them to the "Movie World" Theme Park. As there is many crowds over there, a lot of people were queuing for some rides & attractions. Without knowing what the people were queuing for, my aunt's family & my sis also went to queue up for this "Scoopy Doo Spoky Coaster" thinking that it might be some kind of attraction whereby there will be some people wearing those bloody & weird masks to scare them in the dark room. So they queue & queue and finally is their turn. Seated on the coaster cars with the seat belt fastened....Then they started to realize they will be riding in an indoor roller coaster! My aunt was so worried about my granny who is sitting together with my cousin. During the whole ride, my cousin hugged my granny very tight afraid that my granny will faint. After the whole ride, my granny was so petrified that when she got out of the coaster car, her whole body was quivering till both her feet was too feeble to move. Not only that, she even lost her appetite for the whole day and only managed to take in some food during dinner time. My poor granny...I think this is the most unforgettable moment that she will remember in her life!
Although my sis told me that when they are queuing for the ride, they didn't even realize is a roller coaster as it is not stated at the entrance. She only saw the word "Scoopy Doo Adventurous". However, when I browsed through the Movieworld website, it is stated that there is a signage at the entrace to the queue area saying....
- Minimum height requirement is 110cm

-(My granny is considered very healthy, but she can't take this kind of thrilling ride!)
- Due to the restricted size of the seats, some guests may be unable to ride.

- (My granny is not fat!)
I really wonder how come so many pairs of eyes, but none of them saw this signage at the entrance. Even if they really missed it, but how come the person-in-charge allow my granny to ride on the roller coaster! Proabably my granny look young for her age and they think she is healthy enough to take this kind of thrill! *Shrugz*
By the way, went to McDonald near my place to study for my exam with my darling last night. Although he had his dinner at my place earlier on, but he is too tempted to try the new "Teriyaki Chicken Burger". So despite of his full stomach, he went to order an upsized set meal of that, which includes of 1 Samurai French Fries, 1 Teriyaki Chicken Burger and 1 large lemon tea.
Before his bite, he shake, he shake shake shake.
