Happy 10th Year Anniversary! :)

Don't be mistaken by the title, it's not for my future hubby & me lah...

It's for them :)

Time flies... we have actually known each other for a decade! My goodness, I feel so old suddenly. Still remember the time when we first met during the orientation camp and how we have slowly became best friends. And to celebrate our decade of friendship, we decided to have a short getaway trip at Cameron Highland :)

During the bus journey, while we are chatting away, we then realised that the day we travelled is the date that we have known each other 10 years ago! :x

Now, back to our trip! We took almost 10 hours of coach ride to Cameron Highland, it's my first time to that place and I really like the weather over there so cooling unlike the scorching hot weather in SG!

Half way through the journey, the coach was stationed at Yong Peng for a supper break. As I'm now in my diet plan, so I only helped to take pictures & watch the girls happily eating their supper :p

After fidgeting for a whole night in the coach, we finally reached our destination!

Put on our sunshades to cover up our dark eye circles!

In order to make full use of our time in this trip, the kiasu us actually signed up for 3 local tours at one go!

Let's start with our first tour, Nature Discovery Tour. In this tour, we get to see their tea plantation. Those who have studied geography last time definitely will find this landscape very familiar because it's printed in our text book! I can't believe I'm actually there personally to take pictures with it!! (What a kiddish comment... :x)

The breathtaking scenery
SG is too occupied by many high rise buildings, so this trip brought us back to nature again & we really love the aroma of the greenery over there except for their big fat houseflies which really horrified us!

Cheeky me, can't wait to bite that tea leaf!

Next, the 2nd stop at the viewing tower @ Mount Brinchang!

Cold air brush through my face with a sense of freshness... (Reminiscing the experience)

3rd stop, it's time for a jungle trekking in the mossy forest! It's a very interesting & exciting experience but I think once is enough for me. Because I don't really fancy the idea of dirtying my shoes! In the whole group, I'm the only one who kenna the most mud and it's on my pair of new CROCS! Luckily it's washable and looked new again :) *Phew*

End of my 1st tour, is to visit their famous BOH Tea Factory & their oboriginal settlement.

After our 1st round of the local tour, it's time to feed our hungry & growling empty stomachs! By the way, we are provided with free lunch due to the numbers of tours we had signed up and I would say the lunch is sumptuous enough for that price :)

Right after our lunch, we went straight for our 2nd local tour, Agro Delight Tour to view their cactus valley & strawberry farm :) We even get the chance to try out their fresh corns! You will be surprised that fresh corns actually taste sweeter than those that are cooked!

At the cactus valley, you can find all sorts of exotic cactus! Haha.. we even bought those mini size cactus (cost only RM2.oo) back each as a souvenir :) (Opps... almost forget to water it today!)

This is what we called hydroponics vegetation! But my expert family agriculture specailist told me that these type of vegetables actually used a lot of chemicals to grow, so he adviced me not to eat too much of these :p

Next stop, pay a visit to their Chrysanthemum Flower Nursery. It's really a long & steep slope up and we are puffing all the way to take these shots!

Finally, the last stop for the 2nd tour before we headed off for our steamboat dinner.

Noticed the baby tomatoes on the table? We actually bought them during one of the farm visits :) They really tasted so sweet & fresh! Had a lot of veges during that dinner which really aids our digestive system after that! Kekeke....

Steamboat Feast!

After our steamboat dinner & a full day of tours, we are finally and willingly checking in our hotel! Well, we skipped their night market as we are too tired to walk around carrying so many stuffs in our hand & there's heavy downpour on that night. The idea of getting ourselves drenched with bags of goodies in our hands really turned me off as well :p

Next morning, dragged ourselves up at 5:00AM for our final local tour, Sunrise Spectacular! To our great disappointment, it's raining from the time we woke up till the time we left that place! In the end, we didn't really get to catch a glimpse of the sunrise :(

These are what I shot while waiting for that "spectacular" sunrise! Not even a single shot of the sun ray... The whole sky is covered with dark clouds :(

Well, in order not to waste our money trip there, we decided to get out of that mini bus & braved ourselves through that cold wet weather and took those shots below!

We are chattering away...

After our final tour, it's time for us to pack up & go home!

And here's the one last view of our resort that we only stayed for only 10 hours :p

Though it's only a 2D1N trip, but it's not the quantity of time that matter, it's the quality of time that we spent together :)

Really enjoyed myself with the girls & hope you girls enjoyed yourselves too :)

P/S: For your info, I'm organizing a trip to Cameron Highland again next month! But this time round is with different group of old people, hopefully it will turn out fun as well :p

*Pray for me!*
