Wishing everyone "A Happy Chinese New Year!"
Ok, I know still few days away from CNY. But as a mother now, 24 hours a day seem not enough for me anymore. So I still think its better to send my early greetings as I might not have the time to blog during CNY :)
Well, BB Rui will be turning 4 months during the CNY season! Oh! By the way, did I mention I have already return to the work force when he turns 3 months old? He is now staying with me in SG. So my mum actually helped to babysit him during the day time while I off to work. I will then take over during the night time. It's been almost 1 month. It can be tiring for me as I'm still giving him breastmilk. So everyday, I have to wake up at 6.45am to express milk & need to reach office by 9am! Somemore, I only slept at 11.30pm or even later. But the good thing is BB Rui can sleep from 10.30pm to the next morning till I leave the house. As for my mum, she has trained him to drink more plain water & he has already started to poo almost everyday! But my mum keep complaining abt how heavy he is until she has muscle ache all over her arms :x Well, this shows that he is growing up well, which is a good sign! :)
After being a mother, you will certainly understand the hardship of our parent. There's a lot of thing you will need to forgo... One of them will be my "Me time". Now whenever I go out with friends or go shopping, I have to plan my time carefully. Making sure that someone is there to take care of my son for me before I go out to enjoy myself. But I still have to thank god for giving us such a wonderful son. He is the best gift for now! :)
Now I'm married and have a son of our own. We have to start planning for the future in terms of financial. First of all, we have to settle on a house! Yup, it has been almost 2 years of balloting on the BTO flats with 4 attempts! HDB really disappoint us. Each time the result came out is getting from bad to worse. And we have finally given up on the hope of getting a cheap BTO flat. Most likely will be settling down at Jurong East, the one I'm currently staying.
Anyway weather has not been very good these few days... It has been raining continuously for the past 2 days. Some parts of JB has already flooded and KT probably an "inch" away from the flood. Just hope that the weather will get better tmr. All of us here don't wish to spend our CNY in water.
Do Pray for Us!
