Just came across an interesting article abt more young girls are moving out of parents' home to strike out on their own. This is so ironic as opposed to the article I just read this morning - "Army boy got his maid to carry his bag"
Well, I'll only say living alone is not as easy as it seems but on the other hand u really got all the freedom u want at your own place. But u can't get to eat home cooked food everyday, u have to wash ur own laundry, u have to do housework alone, no one to chat with at home (luckily there's Internet now!) haha suddenly I missed my old place where there's part time maid to do the household chores & my mum's cooking...
I would say now I also living on my own most of the times since both my Hubby & son are in Msia. So I'll have more time to do my personal stuffs but having to face the four walls all the time will make me feel like going back Msia :x Luckily, I still have my parent, friends & SCV to accompany me sometimes. But I realized nowadays I only went back to my mum's place once a week! Oops... Does all married woman seldom go back to their own parents' house once they moved out?
However my mum still make an effort to call & chat with me almost everyday, which we seldom do that when we used to live under the same roof! So it's still not so bad after all! :)
