Happy 6th Month Old, Rui!

Rui is officially 6th month old today and he is exactly half year away from his first year old! :)  Am really gladful he is growing up well.  Although he is experiencing a minor flu now but I believe this will build up his immune system! 

By the way, I can already foresee him to be a playful kid nxt time.  Nowadays he just love to shout & scream at high pitch for nothing! Haha... and he certainly cannot sit still during car ride!  Always like to look out of window in standing position (when he can't even stand) then he will try to lift up his neck to see the vehicles behind!  However, I'm still glad that he is that active... suddenly remind me of his dad who used to be a very naughty kid from what my MIL said :x

Looking through his past photos make me realise that baby really grows very fast.  It is important to capture their photos whenever possible because once you passed that chance, you might not be able to retrieve back that moment. This also explain why my camera is always by my side.

We started to give him solid food 2 days before he turned 6th month because I need to monitor him first so that when my MIL take over today will be easier :)

Just a brief intro of what I have given him for the past 2 days.

Day 1 (2 Apr) 1pm - 2 tsp of Rice Cereal mixed with 30ml Breastmilk

Day 2 (3 Apr) 1pm - 4 tsp of Rice Cereal mixed with 30ml Breastmilk



Well my first attempt was still ok but very messy.  He is too hungry that he keep snatching the spoon & dirtied his hands!  But luckily, 2nd attempt we learnt from the lesson.  We have to make sure his mood is good then we can start to feed him on solid food.  This time round is fed by hubby & I think he has done a great job!  Better than me at least :p
