Have wanted to blog about my 2nd pregnancy but oh well... I'm just being plain lazy abt blogging especially when u are pregnant & have to take care of the first kid who always fall sick.
Anyway, this pregnancy is a baby boy again... Kinda expected it but we still accepted him gracefully! Which mom don't love her own baby who will be staying inside her womb for 9 months?!
But my 2nd prince is a real active baby and seriously can't wait to meet us so he actually arrived one month earlier than the EDD which falls on 21 Apr 2013.
So on 20th Mar 2013 (Wed at 1909 hrs) he just falls onto our arms. This birth took me 13 hours of labour even longer than my 1st one despite he is a preterm baby!
But nonetheless I still have to thank god for this unexpected arrangement :) I believe everything happened for a reason.
Was actually told by my gynae, Dr Chua (a senior gynae from NUH) that during my pushing phase, bb's heartbeat actually dropped and his neck was strangled by the umbilical cord. But really thank god he still came out safe & sound (even though look purplish). Good thing is he don't have to stay in NICU despite he is a preterm baby because he is born with good weight of 2.458kg :)
Because of his unexpected delivery, all our plans changed but we are still able to handle it quite well.
Now still doing my confinement at home, starting to get a little bit bored and waking up at wee hours to breastfeed baby is really draining & tiring. The only console is I can wear back my old jeans again!
