Finally it's here!
Yes... My long awaited house renovation! Has been thinking of renovating the house that I've bought over since 2 years ago but due to lift upgrade & my 2nd pregnancy, the project is postponed.
I have to admit having renovation is a major project for us because I have to clear all the things that have been accumulated for 20 years in the house first before it can start! Some more most of the stuffs don't belonged to me... It's a big big challenge :/
We still need to look for a place to rent before we can start. But really thank god for his grace!!! We manage to rent my mom's friend's condo at an affordable rate for 2 months!
And in between there are so many hiccups here & there which I don't want to go into detail. But I'm still glad that we managed to start the renovation on time :)
Well, I must say this house renovation costs us a bomb and its only basic fundamental :/ nothing too fanciful. Because the house is too rundown & we really change everything!
Strongly recommend our ID James from Connectix Design Studio. Very efficient & always punctual or even earlier than us during all our discussion meet up! Ok design wise I feel that he is belonged to simple & safe type. Nothing too fanciful & he is quite practical in planning all the design. He even think of ways to help us to save some cost here & there. He knows all the hdb rules & regulation well & can provide us with useful advices. So far we are quite satisfied with his work pace.
