Has been very lazy to blog my stuffs up here, but on second thoughts, I think that it is good to record all my wonderful memories here. (^_^)v And here's how I had spent my last wkend...
Saturday (15-10-05)
Well, actually nothing much happened on that day. Just that I went shopping alone in jurong point after my work and bought a lot of stuffs (Nail polishers, comb, socks, tibits etc.) My siblings kept saying that I am very poor thing have to shop alone & ask don't I feel weird & lonesome? Frankly speaking, I do have the intention to ask my friends out to accompany me, but on the other hand, thinking that they might have their own things to do. Anyway, it has been long since I shopped alone. I had always enjoyed it, becoz I can go where I want & buy what I want :p So it is still not so bad afterall. After my shopping trip, I then went home to do my nails.
Pardon me for the blur pics, coz I took it with my hp so image will be a bit blur. Erm.. Don't think u guys can see the shining powder from here but at least the stars are quite "visible" :p

Sunday (16-10-05)
"Rain rain go away, come again another day" Too bad, this song seems no use at all. The heavy downpour still went on for the whole day.
Woke up quite early to prepare myself for my blading lesson. So met up Dave at about 11 am and went to have our Brunch at IMM. After our meal, we then shopped around in "Daiso" and the mischevious us took some funny pics over there.
1st Pic: My darling with his "horns" 2nd Pic: Me with the "Santa Claus" ear muffs

Sighz.. Coincidence thing just happened. The moment we stepped out of IMM, the dark grey sky starting to rain very heavily. Wanted to call up our blading centre to check whether ECP is raining. But blur me forget to bring the namecard out. With no choice, we decided to seek help from Mark. So we went over to Mark's hse & picked him up to his shop. Finally reached his shop, quickly use his Internet to search for our blading centre contact. And to our disappointment, the personnel-in-charge told us that ECP was raining and we have to cancel our lesson. Since it is raining and no where to go, we decided to stuck ourselves in Mark's shop for the whole day. :( But still alrite, coz I managed to use MSN to chat with my friends over there.. keke.. :p
At night, met up with Lindy & Andy for dinner at "Tian Tian Steamboat". Erm.. the food over there so-so only. With that kind of price, I will rather dine in "Chong Qing Hotpot".
Darling & Me at "Tian Tian Steamboat"

The mess we have created over "Tian Tian Steamboat"

Since it is still early, all of us decided to have a tea session before we head back to our home. So went over to "Tea Party" to relax a bit and browse through the consolidated photos taken on Lindy & Andy's wedding day.
Lindy & Andy's Wedding Album

Saw one picture that I find it funny and decided to put it up here :x (Darling, dun scold me hoh... Good things must shared with others mah.. )
Wahaha.. My darling with the curly hair wig! He look like an African sia.. :x The guy beside is the bridegroom. Hmm.. Muz be wondering why is Dave wearing a hair wig. Well, becoz is just part of the punishment by the bride's sisters (including me). But the bridegroom dun want to wear, so he passed to his bestman (Dave) and TaDa... Here's my handsome darling with his funny hairstyle :x

Monday (17-10-05)
Nothing much happened. Just that went to Jurong Point again after work for a simple dinner with Ying and Wen. Then bump into my mum & siblings and we went home together.
Tuesday(18-10-05)
Finally my home Internet is up! And I got my redemption voucher for Nano Ipod! But then still have to wait till November then I can redeem it. Will be a very long awaiting liao... Before our lesson, me & Dave had a hard choice of deciding where to have our dinner because the both of us were kinda sick with the food in Orchard. Then Dave suggested a place that I have never ever or even know it existed in Singapore, that is "Samy's Curry" @ Dempsey Clubhouse. (I only heard of Muthu's Curry. hahaha..)

Click on this pic to find out more about this restaurant.

Well the location of the "Samy's Curry" is quite "ulu" but it is only 10 mins drive to Orchard. As you can see from the map below, the Clubhouse is surrounded by all the greenery with only a few isolated blocks. It is not easy to get to this place without a car because it is quite a distance to the bus stop.

Well, from what I heard from Dave, Dempsey Clubhouse is actually belonged to the Civil Servant. Therefore, over there you can see a lot of retired civil servant uncles in the clubhouse and most of them are quite rich wor... But then, the Clubhouse look a bit old unlike those country clubs today. In the olden time, the whole area is an army training centre for the British soldier. Until now, the bunks still exist and most of them has been locked up with fences and some of them has turned into antique shops. Since "Samy's Curry" only start at 6pm, Dave & me decided to explore this place.
Dempsey Clubhouse Signboard

These were the bunks for the British Soldiers in the olden days. Can u see the reflection of my bear in the 2nd pic? Actually I took the pics inside my car lah..

One of the antique shop signboard. Hmm.. Dun think will dare to come here alone during the night :x Look eerie to me sia..

Oh ya.. we actually drove up quite far to explore the whole area. To our amaze, we found the place where most of the foreign expatriates stayed and their mansion are so super BIG. Didn't know that in Singapore, we can still be able to find such big houses despite our small land area.
After a long awaiting, finally it is 6pm!

Interior Design of the restaurant
(Non-aircon Concept with big round lights & number of fans and big round tables)

But in the end, we decided to sit outside because we are scared of the strong Indian smell

1st Pic: Nasi Briyani with some side dishes 2nd Pic: Curry Fish Head! (Yummy...)

The food over there is really very hot & spicy but taste delicious. The food are served in Ala Carte type but the waiter will go round the table to let u choose the food u wan to eat. So u can just happily sit down there & wait for the food to come. Prices wise, u go check out the website loh... Okie lah.. still affordable if u dun order too much. :p Can you imagine me alone finished up my "plate" of food and the curry fish head. Ok lah... Dave got helped me eat some also.. but then I ate most of the curry fish head coz he can't stand the spicy feeling & he drank a lot of lime juice sia.. Look like I can withstand more hot stuffs than him :x My dear friends, dun drool ok? I will bring you all there if there is a chance. Erm.. can find a lot of "ang moh" patronizing the restaurants too :x And we managed to reach our class on time!
Side effect for taking too much hot & spicy stuffs is that on the next day, you will find yourself go toilet quite a number of time & butt feel a bit burnt(-_-!!)
