~*Shopping Therapy*~

Last night, I had a wonderful shopping therapy with my siblings. We went over to Marina Square for a shopping spree after we knocked off. Even though I've been to Marina Square for quite a number of times after it's renovation, but I would say last night was my first time to spend my time shopping seriously in Marina Square. It's really a wonderful place to shop. Whatever I want can be found in that mall. But it seems like a maze to me because I always lost my way. Probably I'm still considered as a "Newbie" to that area.

Hmm.. Didn't really spend much as I've thought. Only bought one pink sphaghetti lacy top from "Fox", 2 pairs of shoes from Charles & Keith (Shared amongst my siblings), toiletries and dinner treat for my siblings @ Carl's Jr. So in total I spent abt S$85.

Talking about Charles & Keith, it reminds me of the S$50 voucher that my friends bought for me as the birthday last year. Didn't have the chance to use it coz I din seem to find any nice shoes until last night. I was happily chosing my shoes in Charles & Keith as they have new arrivals for their wedges & heels. So I chosen a pair of white heels and a pair of pink wedges. Upon paying, I shown the cashier my $50 voucher thinking that I only need to pay $13 for those pretty shoes. And guess what?!?!

My voucher has already EXPIRED for 2 MONTHS!!! I only came to know it last night!!! Urghz... I was SUPER SUPER SAD over it. It's like I've been waiting for the chance to use it and when I finally wanted to use it, it has already expired without me realizing.

So in order to save my "Face", I paid for those shoes which cost me $63 with my Mastercard! My siblings who sensed my unhappiness, actually volunteered to share the cost with me so that the 3 of us can share the shoes together (^_^) They are sweet & thoughtful, aren't they?

This morning while I'm sorting out my receipts in the office, I have actually thrown the voucher together with the receipts into my office dustbin. Then during lunch time, I suddenly thought abt my voucher and feel that it's really a waste if I just thrown the voucher away, probably there might be some other ways to use that voucher again. So after my lunch, I went to the dustbin(It's a clean one, only filled with unused documents) to pick up the voucher again. And I decided to call up the Charles & Keith Head Office & request for the extension of the expiry date.

And Guess what?? The person-in-charged in the customer service actually agreed to extend my voucher after hearing my story. Wahaha.. I'm so happy abt it when I heard her saying that. I would say they really have a good customer service :) So what I need to do now, is to mail my voucher to them & they will send it back to me after they have varified the voucher!

But wait... In this case, last night I shouldn't have bought the 2 pairs of shoes liao.... (-_-!!!) But nvm, at least I have bought a "lesson" after this experience. So now I will have to wait for my voucher to revive again!

And to my dear siblings... don't worry, this voucher will be shared among the 2 of u due to your thoughtfulness :)
