Not too Late for CNY!

Hey hey hey! HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! Though CNY is coming to an end, but it's never too late to send my best wishes to all of you! ;)

Have been very busy this whole CNY, but I'm enjoying myself this year. Coz went back to my hometown few days before CNY & had a wonderful reunion dinner with my relatives in Msia :)

As usual, we took a plane back to Penang on last last monday. The first thing we do is go MAKAN! I miss my hometown local delights!!! I can eat the same dish everyday without getting sick of it! And I realised something quite interesting at the food market...

Didn't know Jay Chou went to sell fried rice now :X

The next day we headed to Penang Island for some shopping spree at my favourite shopping mall, Queensbay! :)

This year, I bought 2 pairs of simply beautiful high heels @ a very affordable price! For those who know me, I seldom wear this kind of heels, but they are simply too pretty to resist :p

Just nice for my friends' wedding dinners

Oh yah! For those who go shopping in Msia next time, pls look out for their "Baskin Robbins" ice-cream. It's very very nice & cheap with many varieties & toppings.

By the time, we finished shopping it's already late evening time.

All of us were all rushing back for home-cooked buffet @ my 2nd auntie's place.
Photobucket

She's also a Pro in making all those chinese pastry! See how fast selling is her food!

My favourite "Gu Cai Keuh" & "Mang Kuang Kueh"

Let's welcome the "ENG" Brothers & Sisters...

After so many decades, this is their first time taking a group pic together!

Wake up very early almost everyday. Went out with parents for breakfast at the local food stall. And when we are back home, my granny is already preparing for lunch. My stays in Penang is always Eat, sleep, shopping, play cards, Eat, Sleep, play cards, Eat, Sleep :x That's explained why I always gain weight when I'm back from there every year!

Steamboat feast!

Late evening, my uncle drove us up to an uphill Guan Yin Temple, where he used to do his homework revision when he was young. It's really a very quiet place indeed & I love the sunset view over there.
Photobucket

Isn't it beautiful?
Photobucket

Here's a group pictures with my relatives & friends.
Photobucket

Since it's a lunar new year eve, at night we have to make "汤圆" & "守夜" (staying up for the whole night) It's a chinese tradition practice.

And we have all these to accomapny us for the whole night!
Photobucket

We have so much fun playing with the "烟花"
Photobucket
Can see what words or pictures we draw?

It's freaking 2.30 am when I took this pic! I'm so tired until I just wrapped my cardigan around my head to pretend I'm a "black riding hood"? I think I must have lost my mind at that moment :x

Photobucket
Look at my tired eyes!

My uncle even became a motorcycle chauffeur & give all the young kids an adventurous motor ride in the middle of the night!
Photobucket

Finally it's chinese new year! Early in the morning, my granny has already prepared a wonderful breakfast for all of us.
Photobucket

After the breakfast, we do something that what normal pple will do every Chinese New Year! That is playing cards & mahjong!
Photobucket

We just spent the whole noon sitting at the table playing cards & mahjong :x Until late noon, we then headed to our small auntie's place to watch TV & go online! By late evening time, we decided to go to a nearby reservoir park for a walk & some photo taking session.

To our surprise, the whole park is crowded with pple! It's a good jogging place too! Our uncle even taught us how to play with the "Skipping pebbles". Until now, I still cannot master his skill. His pebble can skip like 4 times on the lake!

By the time we reached home, we still managed to see the sunset from my granny's place & capture this beautiful moment.
Photobucket

As for dinner, our aunt cooked us a very marvellous tom yum steamboat!
Photobucket

After dinner, my uncle drove us to "Auto-City" (A place where most youngsters hanged out. It's a combination of pubs, cafe & fast food chain). However this 15 mins route drive became almost an hour! All because my uncle drove to the wrong junction & we have to make a BIG BIG U-turn all the way from mainland to Penang Island!

But I'm glad we still reached there safely & I really love that place it's so different from the kampung! Suddenly I feel "Butterworth" is developing to a very modern place!
Photobucket

Proudly present our chauffeur (My youngest uncle) for all these days! People always commented he look young but for your info, he is already in his 30s! :x
Photobucket

Cam-whore session for us! Pple always say me & my 3rd sis look very alike which both of us don't really want it to be loh :x
Photobucket

Our dearest uncle treated us supper @ Nando's Fast Food Restaurant! This is our favourite local fast food chain in Msia! Love their bbq spring chicken & special made chilli sauce!
Photobucket

See how hungry we are, despite we had a very full dinner earlier on :x
Photobucket

Time passes very fast, it's time for us to pack up & go home! Before leaving, we decided to take some group photos with our relatives.

We and our lovely cousins!
Photobucket

With my grandparents & relatives. Haha.. we are all fun loving pple!
Photobucket

Bye auntie, uncle, grandma, grandpa & lovely cousins! We'll be back again nxt year!
Photobucket

Let's have our one last taste of Penang food before we fly back to SG!
Photobucket

Here's the plane that is going to ferry all of us home!
Photobucket

Finally, home sweet home! We finally reached SG & we actually alighted at T3! Keke.. can use the chance to take a look at the new airport :)
Photobucket

And we realized that their toilet is really spacious & classy!
Photobucket
Can you believe this is really a washroom?

Alright that's about all. Will post more when I'm more free :)
