KT Getaway

Had a wonderful weekend spent in Kota Tinggi.

Brought my family , grandparents & uncle to Dave's house in Msia for the first time.

Dave brought us to Sungai Renggit (Don't know how to spell) for Lobster feast during dinner time. Although it's an hour of car ride from KT, but it's really worth it! However, it's a pity that their MSG is too much and all of us are dying out of thirst even until now! I have been drinking alot of water these days due to too much salt intake :x

Beforehand, we have fun eating durians at his place :) I know it's fattening but I just can't resist it :(

After our dinner, waited for his parents to come back. Seems like they enjoyed chatting with one another. We also sleep in early. But because it's my parents first night at his place. I think the elders not very used to it. They keep waking up in the middle of the night going to washroom :x

And guess what? Dad woke all of us up at 6.00am! My mum & I feel so embarassed & guilty to disturb Dave's parents on such an early SUNDAY! (-_-!) Around 7.00am, Dave & his dad brought my grandparents & dad to their vegetation farm for a walk. Heard from Dave that my granny was so excited when she saw that plot of land full of vegetables. My grandparents used to do vegetation farming during their younger days, so this trip really brought back a lot of memories for them :)

After exploring the farm, all of us went to eat the famous bah ku teh near mersing. Dad was so surprised to see so many "early birds" at the stall. Can see he really enjoyed his breakfast over there coz he keep praising that bah ku teh even when he is back in SG!

Overall, it was a fun & fruitful trip for them and I'm glad it's finally over... Luckily, Dave & I manage to take a small nap after sending off my parents at around 10am. So u can see how tired we are, having to entertain the elders :p
